[Dance Paradise] Who Gets Annoyed by People Calling Everything Techno???

Hey, its me again...here for another little rant and looking for your
input!

I am really getting so annoyed by people thinking all EDM is called
Techno.

How many of you have seen comments like "Cascada are the best Techno
band ever" "you want good techno songs.....? Sandstorm is the most
amazing techno song ever"????

I may not be an expert on Techno or have been listening to it very
long but i sure as hell know what it is and respect it seeming as
most of EDM we know today evolved from it and house.

On Yahoo Answers you get these people who think they are some sort of
expert on "Techno" giving all these artists and songs (most of which
are trance or S*** homemade c**p that there middle aged neighbour
made on some free trial of a music production program and under the
name DJ Super X and DJ Crystal E!). To top it off they then all then
give you low ratings for your answer with actual techno such artists
as Laurent Garnier and Dave Clarke and the Questioner then picks
there answers because what they posted sounds "so good" aparently.

Then when you send these people a polite email clarifying what they
actaully mean they send back that "its all techno...its all the same"
or "what you posted isnt Techno....thats like something realy
bad...its just noise"

I may have gone slightly OTT there but you get my point....is anyone
else out there with my feelings.

If there is enough of us would we be able to do something about it???
