At Present this list is NOT fixed in position. Tracks may never be

are the best but the track in position 7 may eventually be higher. I

One last thing....there will be a "To Be Listened To" list below this

One final final thing! Later on i will add a bit of description to
the tracks like year of release, genre, what i think etc....

Finished Symphony - Hybrid
Age Of Love - The Age Of Love
Access - DJ Misjah & DJ Tim
Born Slippy - Underworld
The Fade (Fade Remix) - Ambassador
(This Is) The Dream of Evan and Chan (Superpitcher Kompact Remix) -
DnTel
Papua New Guinea (Hybrid Remix) - Future Sound Of London
Seven Cites - Solar Stone
Nothing (93 Returning Mix) - Holden & Thompson
Two Months Off - Underworld
Netherworld - L.S.G
Bass Fly - Tillman & Ries

Synaesthesia - Thrillseekers
Dreaming (Libra Mix) - BT
Wide Eyed Angel (Oliver Lieb Mix) - Origin
Mystery Land - Y-Traxx
3000 Miles Away - Signalrunners
Godd - Marco V
As The Rush Comes - Motorcycle
Touched By God - Katcha
Cloudwalking - Pulser
1-800 Ming - Brothers Love Dubs
Falling Anywhere (Rework) - Kyau vs Albert
Suburban Train - Tiesto
Ihre Personliche Glucksmelodie - Gabriel Ananda
Over The Ice - The Field
Fire Wire - Cosmic Gate
The Gift - Way Out West
Cafe Del Mar (Three 'n'One Remix) - Energy 52
Dark & Long - Underworld
Nalin & Kane - Beachball
1998 (Paul Van Dyk Remix) - Binary Finary
Diving Faces - Liquid Child

Right got to go now....will add more later.

NOTE: As the list goes down the positioning of tracks gets less
accurate and shouldnt really be discussed yet

e.g. Cafe Del Mar will be going higher just as Seven Cities will be
probably replaced by Offshore.

Just give me recomendations at the moment...then when all the tracks
are up there then you can start to attack possitions etc!!!!!

[Dance Paradise] Re: 2 Fabiola - Blow Me Away

hey,

First off i would like to appologise for my blatent hipocracy and
for being disrespectful. I was angry at something else i had read on
the net and well, the track you posted was easy pickings for me to
attack and so my mouth got bigger than my brain. I will in future try
to stop this happening again and think before i write.

Now i understand what you are on about when you say about euro dance
and that. I was thinking that you were refering it to be btter than
the likes of Oliver Lieb, Orbital etc

Im familiar with some of the "some years later" artists (Ian Van
Dahl, Jessy etc) Not my favorites by a long way but everyone is
entitled to their opinion. BTW is Micky Modelle just remaking all of
Jessy's tracks becasue there is a lot of tracks being released of
late by Micky Modelle vs Jessy???

Just out of interest what got you into EDM in the first place???

Sorry once again for my stupid behaviour. Indeed, i shouldnt do it
becasue it always come back to bite me in the ass (e.g. the respect
me becasue im 17 thing i wrote!)

To be more specific, I should've written "good Belgian dance tracks from late 90s till beginning of this century"...
I'm referring to tracks from 2 Fabiola, Fiocco, Astroline, La Luna...
and some years later first singles of Milk Inc, Ian Van Dahl, Lasgo, Jessy, Sylver, Tara Lowe, TLD, Orion Too, Kate Ryan...
Are you familiar with their tracks?

> Seriously, its got supersaw's and

OK, so you don't like the track

> By any chance are you 14 or a chav???

Now here you're getting a little too personal for me!
I was not expecting to hear that from you, cause 2 weeks ago it was you who asked us... "not to assume that what you said was shit only because you're only 17"
But you think someone who is 3 years younger than yourself can't have a good opinion on dance music?

However you did not offend me by assuming I'm 14. Cause when I had that age (in 1993, I think you must have been 2 years old then) it was the beginning of a great period with the start of eurodance tracks! I would not hesitate if I had the chance to re-live that period!!!!

But by calling me "a chav" you're getting disrespectful, and I don't like that at all!
I'm on this list for about 6 years and I can't recall someone using such vocabulary. I thought it was all about discussing opinions on music in a respectful way...

I'm glad you came on this list cause it needed some fresh activity, but please respect other's opinions on music as I respect yours.

Oh dear god you cant be serious??? How can that possibly remind you
of "good quality dance from a couple of years ago"??? What tracks are
you refering to when you say that? Seriously, its got supersaw's and
cheesy vocals....nither is good on its own but together is just awful.

By any chance are you 14 or a chav??? I dont mean to put a downer on
you but that isnt good.....i expect it will be on clubland 14 in the
winter!

[Dance Paradise] Re: Ishkurs Guide.......

ah, ok i get you now. The ironic thing is that those types of trance
listeners by only listening to trance have no perception. e.g of
techno and house from which trance was founded from (among some other
things)

In my opinion trance is way too "rich" a genre to listen to the whole
time (with prehaps the exception of classic and goa/psy) if you get
what i mean :-s ? You need to listen to other stuff like house,
techno and ambient to fully appreciate trance.

2005 was a good year for both of us then....thats when EDM
finally "clicked" for me i.e i finally began to appreciate it as
music and started listening to respectable music (NOT clubland and
hardcore (although some hardcore is good)) I remember the song...it
was Paul Van Dyks remix of Synaethesia.

Well on Ishkurs site there is like an advert for it thats bin there
for a while and he says that its going to be massive so i cant
wait.....the fact he is asking for donations suggests he may be
hosting it himself?

There is a lot of funny stuff on his site...have you seen the posters
and t-shirst he has made???

I love the tiesto poster that has a big pic of Tiesto with his hands
in the air and underneath it reads "God doesnt know he is Tiesto"

I never knew people were so knowlegable/ uptight/ cared about EDM so
much before i went on the forum.

TO JARED: Cool, its bin up since 2005 hasnt it??? Version 3.0 is
meant to be in progress...that should be wicked when its done. You
dont have any idea when it will be ready do you????

Have you been on Ishkurs own w/site (the one with the blue
background)? ?? That pretty good to. Although there are some complete
jerks on the forum.

BTW what do you mean by "For all you knuckleheads that only listen to
trance"???

TO BART: Sorry i dont get what you were saying in your reply about
Armin and Ferry being "nono" and making cheesy music????

[Dance Paradise] Re: Hi and a simple question?

Hey "uriahhodgson"

Yeah, there hasnt been to much of what people personally like so go
for it with posting your collection....Im deffers interested in what
you have and hope to find some new stuff to listen to!

Its my last week at school but i have 8 weeks hols starting on fri so
if you want i will start posting up what i have music wise becaseu i
will finally have lots of free time!

I will check out that w/site...sounds like its v. good. Most file
sharing things like Limewire are rubbish for EDM becaseu everything
is labled as "Tiesto" or "DJ (insert stupid name here) and is really
bad homemade junk. That said Soulseek is good but its a file sharing
thing so i guess your not interested....?

Anyways, looking forewards to see what you have got......

[Dance Paradise] Hi and a simple question?

Hello everyone, this is my first post. So I'll keep it simple(sort of).
I know that I've been reading your post for a while now but I have
found that know one is saying what they personally have or their
personal fav. Well I curious. I'll be posting a partial list of my
personal collection in the next day or two. Still I'd love to see what
everyone else has.
One last note for those who love to build their collection. Check out a
free site called www.ektoplazm.com for free trance music (nothing
illegal here). Also the creator list several other links. Just thought
someone out there may like this site. Oh yeah if you know of other
sites similar to this one. I'm interested. Please don't include any "
free download programs(i.e. limewire etc), I don't care for that kind
of stuff.
Once again look for my up coming list soon. Later.................

although is (still) my favourite sub genre i cant help but agree what
he says about lots of it.

Anyways go have a look....its very insightful to the whole of EDM with
timelines and samples to listen to
