Open Contact Camp: 25.1.-19.2.2011
This festival is celebrating CI community, sharing dance and quality time together in a warm and sunny climate in the middle of European winter! It is about ‘Dancing Bodies, Dancing Places’, arriving in body-time, listening, sensing the spaciousness, emptiness and vastness inside – allowing yourself to sink into the volcano island of Fuerteventura, expanding the mind, opening the body, meeting the place. We are interested in bringing together inside and outside, precise studio work and sensing nature experience. We will study the forces of gravity in the focus of the studio as well as taking the exploration into different elements and onto different surfaces, re-informing the body and nourishing souls and dances.
There will be workshops in the studio, focused and open jamming, site specific dancing (sand dunes, volcanoes, beaches, lagoons, ocean waves …) and performing in the local theater, - as well as a lot of spaciousness to just be.
Our vision is to create a sense of play within the group, inviting involvement and creativity, supporting each of us to follow our interests, ideas, needs and curiosities.

The week before and after the festival we are welcoming you to *Open Contact Camp*
Open Contact Camp is an invitation to share live and dance together in a beautiful location and warm sunny climate. There will be no specific program or facilitation. The time is completely open for us to follow our needs, desires and interests. We can create, dance, have vacation, digest the festival, spend time together, do what we wish. Some studio access might be possible – we will see.
Open Contact Camp is meant to deepen the festival experience and therefore is for festival participants only!

Price: The price for the festival including all, CI festival workshops, jams, food and housing (festival hostel or own tent), will be 290 €. We have a lower special price for local people.
The housing during Open Contact Camp the week before and after will cost 5,50 € per night with individual or community cooking. Join us whenever you can.
Optional: Surf Course (www.naturalsurfcamp.com) during Open Contact Camp for a very special low price in combination with the festival. We recommend doing the surfing during Open Contact Camp….. (around 100,- €/ 5 days, 2h/day, including wet suit and board). Beginners welcome! Dates will be negotiated once we are there.

Post Festival Workshop:
‘Wider Out – Deeper In’ Feb 15-17, 3h/ day/ € 80 with Elske Seidel, for those who can’t stop dancing … taking the exploration to another level.

¡Bienvenidos, bailarines del Sol!
¡Este festival está basado en la comunidad del CI, compartiendo danzas y tiempo juntos en un cálido y soleado clima en medio del invierno europeo! Este festival habla de “cuerpos de danza, danza en lugares” , buscando el tiempo corporal, escuchando, sintiendo la amplitud, vacio e inmensidad interior- permitiendo adentrarte en la isla volcánica de Fuerteventura, expandiendo la mente, abriendo el cuerpo, encontrando el lugar.
Estamos interesados en trabajar juntos desde dentro, el trabajo especifico de estudio y desde fuera con experiencias en la naturaleza. Estudiaremos las fuerzas de la gravedad en el estudio, y llevaremos esta exploración a los diferentes elementos y a las diferentes superficies, Re-informando al cuerpo y nutriendo así nuestras almas y danzas.
Habrá talleres en los estudios, jams abiertas y temáticas, danza en espacios no convencionales (dunas, volcanes, playas, lagunas, el océano…) y actuaremos en el teatro local.

Nuestra intención es crear un sentido del juego dentro del grupo, invitando a la participación y a la creatividad, apoyándonos los unos a los otros y siguiendo nuestro interés común, ideas, necesidades y curiosidades.
La semana antes y después del festival eres bienvenido al *Open Contact Camp*. El Campo Abierto de Contact es una invitación a vivir juntos y compartir bailes en un maravilloso emplazamiento con un clima cálido y soleado. No habrá un programa específico u organización. El día está abierto a nosotros para seguir nuestras necesidades, deseos e intereses. Podemos crear, bailar, hacer turismo, digerir el festival, pasar tiempo juntos, hacer lo que nos dé la gana.
¡El Campo Abierto está hecho para profundizar en la experiencia vivida durante el festival y por lo tanto es solo para los participantes!
Precio: 260 € para gente espanola (normalmente 290€) incluyendo talleres, jams, alojamiento, (dormitorios o tu propia tienda) y comida (desayuno, comida y cena) durante el festival del 5 al 11 de Febrero del 2011.El alojamiento durante el Campo Abierto la semana antes y después costará entre 5,50 € por noche con cocina personal o cocinando en grupo (esto será lo mas barato). Ayudantes
¡Eres bienvenido a ser un ayudante en el festival!
Si quieres ser ayudante, trabajarás 12-14 horas en total y pagaras un total de 190 € por el festival (8 €/hora aprox.) lo cual significa unas 2 horas de trabajo diarias. Se organizará una reunión para saber cómo se dividen las horas.
Transporte interno:
Por favor ten en cuenta que tú eres el responsable de tu transporte por la isla, lo cual significa que necesitas formar parte de nuestro sistema de transporte compartido. Encontramos una compañía de alquiler de coches barata: http://www.emietwagen.de Un coche seria 100 €/semana, y 260 € por 3 semanas (si cohttp://www.dancecontact.de/en/fuefestival.htmlmpartes un coche con 5 personas saldría a unos 20 € a la semana o menos) los grupos pueden ser variados mientras puedas coordinarte con el resto de participantes.
Sentimos mucho no poder hacer excepciones respecto al sistema de compartir coche. Todos tenemos que organizarnos con este sistema.
Funciona de la siguiente manera: TODOS perteneceremos a un grupo, pero podremos cambiar y hacer viajes con diferente gente e ir a diferentes lugares. Esto solo funciona bien si cada uno comparte de este modo. ¡No es caro! Depende del grupo (3 o 5 personas) pero unos 3 € /día.
